I so love this gig I get to call my job. My favorite part is being with my clients with my camera in hand. Getting to know each and every one on a deeper level while taking portraits is pure joy for me! Many of you know that I pray for all of the clients the Lord sends my way both present and future. Showcasing them in portraits to celebrate special moments in their lives is a true blessing I do not take for granted. However, I do have to be honest about this job, the back-office tasks are not my favorite.

Administrative, marketing and accounting tasks are very necessary but don’t bring me the kind of joy I get when I am behind my lens, or when I am putting final touches on client’s favorite images and when I am unveiling their print products in front of them! Those are definitely some of the best moments of this job! Blogging, however, while I love sharing, the process of actually doing it is one of my procrastination points. Hence, the very late share of one of my FAVORITE SUMMER SENIOR SESSIONS!

Enjoy some throwback moments from Madision’s stunning summer senior session at The Dallas Arboretum and in Highland Park!

Madison’s first look was one of my favorites of the day. A darling white summer dress paired with neutral heels and a classic cowboy hat for some bonus looks!

Madison was gorgeous in green for her second look within the gardens and on the dock at White Rock Lake.

We had to some time to kill before our final location so I could not resist some bonus shots on the dock at White Rock Lake for Madison!

Next, we headed over to Highland Park for her 3rd look in some flowy shorts that allowed her to showcase her amazing dance skills for a fun dance pose in the gazebo! I just loved the addition of that lace wrap….the glow was majical!

Her 4th and final look during this Dallas summer session, Madison was pretty in pink! I wasn’t the only one that thought so. A few images from this series was featured nationally in the prestigious Senior Year Magazine! It is a great honor to have my images chosen alongside some of the most talented senior photographers in the nation for publication!
