Riley’s Dallas Bridal Portraits

Riley’s bridal portraits are super special to me.  She is a lifelong friend to my daughter and her mom is one of my dearest friends.  So when it came time to take her bridals, it truly was a precious day for all of us to be together to celebrate this moment with Riley.  Libby was “fluffing” and being the best friend  and Shannon was the veil and bouquet holder while we all enjoyed each other with laughs and lots of love that day.

I think we picked the busiest attendance day in history for the Dallas Arboretum!  Thankfully, that did not affect the portraits one bit.  We still found beautiful spots and timed it where it looked and felt like we were the only ones there.  I just love losing myself in my work and just focusing my attention on who I am with, not worrying about who is around us.  I think there is a life lesson in that somewhere:  be fully present with who is right in front of you!

The weather was perfect.  It was a beautiful fall day with perfect temperatures and stunning light provided the perfect glow throughout the garden.  The fall garden was lovely, as always, and provided the perfect setting for Riley’s bridal portraits.   Riley and Chris, her groom, were married just a few months later in one of the pretties winter weddings I have ever been too.  I am excited to share some of my absolute favorites from this fall bridal portrait session at the Dallas Arboretum.  Enjoy!
