Harley knew exactly what type of session she wanted for her senior portraits. She definitely wanted a downtown upscale Dallas vibe! I think Dallas, Texas is one of the prettiest cities in our nation with plenty of upscale vibe to offer! The architecture is unique and varied which is a portrait photographer’s dream backdrop. One of my favorite places in Dallas is The Arts District. There are so many unique spots to enjoy. Plus, you can’t help but feel a bit cultural when you are down there amongst so much talent!
We began Harley’s senior session at The Dallas Museum of Art front mural. With all its beautiful colors the mural certainly was the perfect compliment to her first outfit! She wore a cute royal blue romper with a bow in the back and paired it with a great set of heels! Her hair and make up looked perfect, too, so we were off to a great start! Her second outfit was a white denim skirt, darling pink blouse that I absolutely loved and, again, paired with my favorite footwear to photograph on all females….you guessed it: heels! We made our way down to the Meyerson Symphony area and enjoyed a few street portraits, steps, walls, and even the reflecting pool. Her final outfit was probably my favorite! A pair of amazing dark jeans with the perfect flare paired with a sheer sleeved white blouse and the “piece de resistance,” in my opinion for a Texas girl, the best cowboy hat Harley could ever wear! Dallas had so much to offer on her senior portrait day. We had an absolute blast together with her sweet mom!
Enjoy a few of my favorites from Harley’s downtown Dallas senior portrait session!
